(- This document has been created by Rioter and Dialk for the old Dogma guild of Mordred, and include everything we believe in, so it's quoted here, mostly in its original format).

Hey guys/gals ,

I wanted to create a document to list the guidelines that seem to help keep Dogma focused on the main objective - (i.e. having fun).

1. GM's in Dogma have no power over the Council (Officer Rank) in guild. The function of the GM is simply to take care of the fluff. Officers are in charge of the direction Dogma goes with the advice of Veterans. We set up Dogma with one GM and 3 Officers, in hope that there is always someone on - just in case one is needed.

2. The job of an Officer is to help keep Dogma on track with our main objective - Having Fun. Officers are here to help you enjoy your gaming experience, but they are not here to hand hold. Please do not come online expecting guild members to stop what they are doing to serve your needs.

It is not what the guild can bring to you, but rather, what you can bring to the guild. - Please keep this in mind, people will be there for you if you are there for them. We'll try to set up many guild events through out each week.

Officers will inform you of Guild events or Server-Wide events via these boards and the MOTD. Officers will occasionally lead raids. Officers will keep an eye open for promising recruits. Officers will make sure Dogma stays in the right frame of mind. Officers will sometimes put a raid together to help "you" succeed in achieving one of your goals. This last item is not a requirement of the Council though.

If you need something, it's okay to ask, just don't spam or ask for 100 things on a daily bases. If someone has time to help, they most likely will.

3. Our guild Prime time is generally around 8:00 PM. - 11:30 PM. - EU. However, with the recruitment currently happening, hopefully, we can maintain a Dogma presence through out most of the day.

4. The majority of the people in Dogma are in the range of 25 to 35 years of age. Many have their own families and work responsibilities to deal with. Gaming is a means of enjoyment and should be fun and relaxing. With that said, we expect a high standard within our guild. So, please keep immaturity in check.

Also, keep it clean. There is no need for poor taste subjects/jokes within guild chat/Team Speak or even in the game. We have a variety of people from around the world playing WoW and people can easily get offended, even if it wasn't meant to be taken the way it was. Just keep it to yourself please.

(Maturity - This also means, stay far away from words like l33t, uber, howg, h8U)

5. I stress to you - Do not cheat. It reflects not only on you, but on the guild as well. If we get wind of anyone cheating, I can safely say we would rather you move to the next guild then have to deal with figuring if you are or not.

6. Do not whine or beg in guild chat - bad things happen in the game, move on. If you start crying a lot, you will get the boot.

7. NO DOGMA TAG (IS FREE GAME) - We have no alliances. Kill anyone without a Dogma tag. If you want to spare life of an enemy, go ahead, but if you see someone attack a Dogma member, help Dogma. No Dogma Tag is "FAIR GAME". (Applies to PK enabled servers.)

About groups - If you see Dogma hanging out somewhere and you want to join them, "PLEASE ASK". Don't just invite yourself. Nine out of ten times you will always be welcome, but once in awhile it just might not be the case. Don't do that to your fellow gamers.

8. UNGUILDED ALTS are not considered part of the guild. Do not come on guild chat spatting out "Why did you leave me out from the guild raid @#$%". Doing so is the same as sticking your hand in a fire. Laugh it off and move on.

FOR NEW MEMBERS -
ALTs can not get in guild until the Council feels like you are Dogma material. This is simply to help us keep track of who you are till we get to know you.

9. Do not talk shit to people. Talking shit back is okay.

10. I suggest, especially to all new recruits, to make an effort to run on as many guild events as you can upon joining. This way, our members will get to know you and you will get to know our members. Another thing, make an effort to help guild mates as much as possible. They will return the favor.

If you discover Dogma is not a good fit, please don't hesitate to move on.

- MOST IMPORTANTLY -
It is all about having fun, so have at it...

I hope this document helps give you more insight in what we are about.

Welcome to the family,

/salute
